On top of all the amazing NOBREAD options, Katana’s cocktail list was enough to get me back to their chic atmosphere any night. I went with the spider roll, which featured incredibly fresh softshell crab, avocado, cucumber, and daikon sprouts. Fear not, friends! The gluten free menu includes all of Katana’s renowned robata style skewers (sans some of the sauces), the full sushi bar, and various INCREDIBLE hot and cold dishes. My personal favorite was the tuna carpaccio with truffle oil, arugula, avocado, and parmesan cheese. Anyone who is a fiend for avocados, or orders all things truffle as I do, MUST order that starter. The sushi was amazing too as expected. Complete with an outdoor lounge and DJ, Katana is the perfect place for almost any night out. Just when I think it can’t get better, Katana introduces a NOBREAD friendly menu that includes several signature dishes from their main menu!…Īsian restaurants, let alone Japanese restaurants, are not always NOBREAD friendly due to the endless use of sauces, so I was initially a bit nervous to try the WeHo hotspot. Katana has become one of my absolute favorite spots on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The restaurant serves delicious Japanese cuisine with a sultry, trendy ambiance. ![]()
